Challenge

A sterile filling suite with Grade B, C and D areas relied on manual magnehelic readings twice per shift. Pressure reversals during material transfer went unnoticed until the next round, and paper records were hard to review for audits.

Solution

DPT20 transmitters with buzzer were installed on every room-to-room boundary, with DPT30 relay versions on the airlocks. All transmitters send 4–20 mA to the BMS and, via a CloudWAY gateway, to CloudDASH360, where SMS and e-mail alarms are configured for each grade.

Temperature mapping of a 6,000 m² GDP warehouse

Challenge

A distributor had to map summer and winter conditions of a high-bay warehouse before qualification. Loggers had to cover all rack levels, dock doors and the AHU zones and deliver an auditable report.

Solution

CLIMA WiFi dataloggers were placed in a three-level grid across the racks and near the docks; the data were collected in CloudDASH360 for both seasons. The hot spot at the south dock led to an air-curtain installation before qualification.

Shipment monitoring for vaccine distribution

Challenge

Vaccines are shipped at +2 … +8 °C to regional stores. Receivers needed a fast accept/reject decision on arrival, and freezing – which destroys many vaccines – had to be detected even when the logger was not read out.

Solution

Every shipper carries a PTRANS single-use datalogger (PDF report via USB, no software required) and a PolSENSE freeze indicator. Receivers check the indicator and the PDF at the dock in under a minute.

Demand-controlled ventilation for an office campus

Challenge

Meeting rooms were ventilated at full rate all day, wasting fan and heating energy, while some rooms still exceeded 1,500 ppm CO₂ during long meetings.

Solution

CD50 CO₂ transmitters and ClimaTRANS RHT100 units were installed in every meeting room and connected via Modbus RTU to the BMS, which now modulates the VAV dampers according to CO₂ and humidity.

Challenge

A pumping station had two unplanned pump failures in a year. Route-based vibration measurements every three months were too infrequent to catch developing bearing damage.

Solution

VibeSENSE P100 smart vibration sensors were mounted on the drive-end bearings of six motor-pump sets and connected to a CloudWAY gateway. CloudDASH360 trends velocity RMS and alarms when ISO 10816 zone C is reached.

Climate and light monitoring for a greenhouse farm

Challenge

A greenhouse grower controlled shading and irrigation by fixed timers. Cloudy days caused under-lighting, sunny days heat stress.

Solution

A PLXWS800 integrated weather station on the roof and PAR50 sensors at crop level now feed the climate computer. Shading and irrigation are controlled by measured PAR and radiation instead of timers.
